In-Person Drivers Education Program DEP

Service Description

The Drivers Education Program is a thirty-six (36) hour class. The purpose of the class is to help new drivers become "Safe, Responsible and Courteous Drivers". Our goal is to assist every participant with gaining classroom and behind-the-wheel road training that will help to prevent accidents, comply with the motor vehicle rules and regulations and licensing requirements, and respect for other drivers and users of the roads. The Drivers Education Program includes 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Sessions. The BTW Sessions are scheduled according to the student's availability. The Drivers Education Program is a 2 week class. You may either pay online or in person for the DEP classes. Online payments ($295) must be in full with a credit or debit card. In person payments ($310) may be paid in full (and receive a $15 discount) or with a $155 deposit. The balance (cash, money order, or credit card) must be paid during the second week of class in order to receive a Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) schedule. You may register and pay in-person Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. You may call 301-423-3339 for an appointment to register. Class Schedule Classes start on Mondays. There is a morning class 10:00 am - 1:15 pm and an evening class 6:00 pm - 9:15 pm. Each IN-PERSON class is 2 weeks (Mondays through Fridays at the same time). Class Start Dates: 1/29, 2/12, 2/26, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, 5/20, 6/3, 6/17, 7/1, 7/15, 7/29, 8/12 To register and pay online for an IN-PERSON class, select the Book Now button. To see the different dates in the calendar, select the back and forward arrows. Once you see the start date for the class you want to take, click the desired class time. A box will display around the selected class time. You will see the class time in the box to the right of the calendar. Make sure the correct date and time of the class is showing. Select Next and complete the Online Registration Form. Payment is completed through PayPal by selecting the Pay Now button.
